Currently in the world that is a tremendous shortage of safe drinking water. The situation is desperate in third world countries. In 80% of third world countries the drinking water is contaminated by sewage water, which is the leading cause of death in these countries. For every hour, one hundred people die due to drinking, unsafe contaminated water. The intent to form this charitable corporation is to provide a high-quality, drinking water and sanitation to all poor people in the third world countries. In order to achieve this noble pursuit donation, will be collected from all local communities, businessman and corporations. An Information database will be created based on population in third world countries where there exist an immediate need of support.

We start by taking a sample of water by digging a bore well. Based on the lab report and TDS content we recommend our own designed efficient high-tech Real Solutions and install Reverse Osmosis R.O. Plant, Ultra Filtration Plant, Solarized Submersible Pump, Community Hand Pump and Shallow Hand Pump. In Shallah we plan in year 2024 to install 50+ plants per month.

Since inception in the year 2019 we have completed 700 projects and plan to execute 600 this year.

How Saaf Paani Started?

Our Inspiration

Abdul Majid Adam was inspired by watching a TV show anchored by Mubashir Lucman showing a video clip from June 12, 2018 about the story of Mr. Sawan, whose three sons (3) died because of drinking contaminated water from a local pond in Vahova village (65 miles from Tunsa Barrage in Punjab District in Pakistan).

When Conceived

Saaf Paani concept was conceived and rolled out by Engr Majid Adam in February 2019 at the Golden Jubilee Reunion of NED’s 1969 in Karachi. Later in the same year, in October 2019, a nonprofit organization named Saaf Paani (Safe Water) was launched and registered as a charitable 501 (c)(3) organization having Tax ID # 30-1200654 in Houston, Texas.

Our Collaborators

The Saaf Paani group, in collaboration with a local Non Profit organization NEDians Social Engineers Trust Group (NED-SET), has installed plants in areas of Karachi, the interior of Sindh Province, Balochistan, KPK, and Punjab.
